Child Education Center is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
 

CEC is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, administrated by an Executive Director, and licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services.
 

CEC is open year-round 12 months, from 7:30AM – 6:00 PM.
 

CEC serves up to 104 children ages 6 weeks through 6 years.
 

CEC is closed for approximately 22 days each year, for holidays and professional development.  There is no pro-ration of tuition for days of site closure.
 

All CEC staff must pass a fingerprint background check prior to employment and fully qualify for the position they hold.
 

CEC staff retention rate is triple the national average.
 

The philosophy of care and education is Play-based and Reggio-inspired. 
 

CEC provides a morning and afternoon snack. Parents provide lunch. 
 

Parent Participation requirement is four hours monthly.  Parents that do not have time may pay $50 per month instead.
